LOL. Are you fucking kidding me?
He has lied to Dean about Sam (the panic room door).
He has hurt Sam to get a head of the game, knowing Dean would be angry
Stereotyped Sam as the boy with the demon blood, and let’s be honest, all stereotypes stick no matter what.
Withheld information about what killing Lillith would do.
Hiding Sam being alive from Dean.
Opened purgatory.
So would Castiel run away like a scared little girl? FUCK YES HE WOULD. get off your damn high horse and feels.Sigh. The double standard in this fandom is ridiculous.
I’m gonna break it down for you so your tiny brain can maybe just maybe learn something. =)
- He lied to Dean about Sam (the Panic Room door)
No, the fact is it never came up. Dean never questioned how Sam got out. Yeah Cas should have probably told him. But he never lied about it. And omfg Cas didn’t force Sam to leave the panic room. Cas was brainwashed by heaven for exhibiting emotions toward the Winchesters. Emotions that angels are trained to not feel. What is with you people obsessing about this? Sam is the one who drank demon blood in the first place. (A fact that I absolutely do NOT blame him for, he made a mistake, and he doesn’t deserve hate for that). Cas was under heaven brainwashing; and Sam was under demon brainwashing. Their circumstances are not so different.
- He has hurt Sam to get a head of the game, knowing Dean would be angry
Yes he broke Sams wall, which was not good. It was a mistake. He knows this. The fact is Cas hates himself for this as much as you hate him. If not more. He has more than atoned for this. He fixed Sam and took Lucifer from his head, knowing that the effect on himself would not be good. He doesn’t care about himself. Cas has always put the Winchesters above himself always. He was planning on fixing Sam as soon as he got the power to do so. He didn’t predict that the souls would overwhelm him so much. He was doing the best that he could. Sam’s wall was always going to break, always. That doesn’t excuse Castiel’s actions, but it’s a fact.
- Stereotyped Sam as the boy with the demon blood, and let’s be honest, all stereotypes stick no matter what.
Ok this is such bullshit I can’t even. Angels don’t think the same way we do. They associate anything demon as evil. Kind of like someone else we know… OH YEAH DEAN WINCHESTER. Dean thought that the demon blood was corrupting Sam and making him into a monster. Fact. Castiel shook Sam’s hand when he first met him. Yes he hesitated, but think about it. He’s an angel. He doesn’t know human customs. He was confused what Sam wanted from him, nobody had ever shaken his hand before. Castiel overcame this line of thinking and now he loves Sam like a brother.
- Withheld information about what killing Lillith would do.
Again. Brainwashed. By heaven. Like Sam was brainwashed by Ruby and her blood. You really aren’t making your point very well. And the fact is he would gain nothing if he rebelled except being cast out of his family. He came to see that Dean was right and heaven was corrupt. Why should he just accept that Dean was right and his family was wrong? He had been living under the assumption that God’s word was the only truth for eons and here comes this human who completely tears his view of the universe apart. It takes some time to come to terms with those kind of revelations.
- Hiding Sam being alive from Dean.
Sam didn’t want Dean to know he was alive. He was being loyal to Sam’s wishes for Dean to live a normal life outside of hunting.
- Opened purgatory.
Yes he opened purgatory because he felt like he had no other options. The Winchesters certainly weren’t giving him any. They just said that he shouldn’t be working with Crowley and since he was he was basically dead to them. But he never stopped trying to protect the Winchesters. Ever. He opened purgatory to stop Raphael from raising Lucifer and restarting the apocalypse that they had all worked so hard to avoid. Was it a foolproof plan? No. but it was the only one he had.
- So would Castiel run away like a scared little girl? FUCK YES HE WOULD. get off your damn high horse and feels.
Everything Castiel has ever done since he took Dean out of that green room was for the Winchesters. Why the fuck would he run now? He jumped in front of Dean when Dick threatened him even though Leviathan can kill angels pretty easily and he had stated that he didn’t like conflict. He will always put Dean and Sam before himself. Always
You really don’t have any idea what show you are watching do you?

Michael FassbenderEverything I put my name to and take part in, I want to be good. That’s not saying it will always happen. But I want to make bold choices.

That first moment…Mark just hesitantly initiates the hug, uncertain of its reception.
Then next Tom realizes the hug is going down and does that…what do you even call that slapping motion? The “hell yeah bro put your hands around my waist locking you in” move?
Then they start swaying. Swaying. What the fuck, guys.
And then they finish off by giggling like schoolgirls as they hug-crab-walk away. I cannot dissect down far enough to explain the cute-ception that I’m being plagued with by these men.

“Thor’s new sleeveless look was to achieve a less-armored look for the conversational scenes between the Avengers. The look also takes a cue from the comics and works well with Chris Hemsworth’s incredible physique. His muscular arms are the iconic statement of Thor, and the discs and red cape are the iconic statements of the cotsume.”
— Costume designer Alexandra Byrne
I just had to include the quote about Hemsworth’s “incredible physique”.
As always, if you like this stuff you should seriously consider buying the book because it’s awesome.
